Design
I’ve been working in the web world since around 1999, which seems like a long time now I write that down. Over the years I’ve dabbled in all sorts of technologies and, while I love getting down & dirty with a bit of coding, I’ve always enjoyed the design element the most and really enjoy taking someone’s idea and turning it into something that looks sleek, yet usable.
Over the years I’ve build up a load of knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, php/MySQL and all that other good stuff (who really wants to read boring lists like that?) and have worked on many websites both in my day jobs and for freelance clients.
I’ve launched a few sites myself, this one having been around in various forms for several years now as well as rolldabeats a big database cataloguing dance music releases, mainly centered around the jungle, hardcore and drum & bass genres. I’ve been the main designer and developer on this site for a couple of years now and have much more planned for it in the near future
In 2008 I launched a company with a long time friend, Dan, in an attempt to take on more freelance work, me taking the front end work and Dan working on the back end stuff. The company is called Lighthouse London and we love to create websites for our clients, some of which you can see on our portfolio
If you’re interested in working with us or just need a little help with some basic ideas then get in touch via the contact box below or the Lighthouse site and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible
