Back in ’99 I played a couple of gigs over in New York, one of which was a night called Oxygen at Drinkland (now Plan B). Randomly I just got an email from the guy who used to run it, Redboy, saying that he had a copy of the mix on CD. Pete Parsons, a man I’ve talked about on here before is back making jungle/d&b with DJ Trace, it seems. THis has proven to be a winning combination in the past as I’m pretty sure that most of the releases on Dee Jay and Luckyspin that Trace did were engineered by Mr Voyager and plenty of them are total classics.
It looks like the two of them are starting up a new label to releases some new tunes “on the 94 vibe”. Check the audio below, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!
