Haste – 80s Mix Part 2: Lethal Weapon

Well, since the first one went down so well I had wanted to do a second mix for a while. People were also already requesting another one practically as soon as I had sent out the link for the first mix. However, I wanted to do something a bit more special for this one that would take a long time and, after a lot of technical problems and hours spent refining the bloody thing, I finished it.
It’s the first mix that I didn’t do live. All my mixes are done in one take with no re-recording but for what I had in mind for this one I had to record it in four sections and then piece it together, it’s the only mix I’ve worked out a rough tracklist for as well, all the other ones I do I just grab a pile of tunes and then see what happens. It was constructed in Logic and all the sound fx and movies samples were put over the top to form the final “masterpiece”.
It was a pain in the arse to make but I think it wipes to floor with the first one, hope you all enjoy it it definitely made me chuckle loads when I was putting it together. Many thanks to Cheetah & Logic for the custom vocals and Dave “All Good” H for finding me the Tim Westwood-esque bomb sounds…DAMN!!
