Saw some posters of this in some of the more trendy record shops on a recent trip to New York and thought it looked pretty interesting. (Another) film about the Norwegian Black Metal scene and all the nonsense, murderation and general weirdness that goes on round those parts. Awesome use of Burzum in the trailer with interviews with man himself. Will definitely be looking this one up when it’s out in the UK…very much doubt it’ll get anywhere near a cinema here, though
Even if you’re not into metal it’s a pretty fascinating subject and I’d also really recommend picking your way through the Lords of Chaos book if you can be arsed (it gets a bit boring towards the end).

Not sure if many people really know about this amazing radio show done by Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson. You can pick up the shows on CD which I would highly recommend as they are hilarious. It’s kinda like a load of Fast Show characters talking crap in a fake radio chat show with all the actors doing a load of awesome stupid accents for the different people. Anything featuring Felix Dexter in it is pure gold.
Some of you might remember The Real McCoy – a comedy show from the early 90s – that had some classic sketches but many that are now pretty dated. Felix Dexter was on there regularly and is one of the few of the people who appeared on it who is still around – he has to be one on my favourite comic actors and cracks me up whenever he’s on anything.
I was looking around YouTube for some clips a while back and this one popped up that nearly had me crying. Too good…
