Taz Buckfaster – Gold Tooth Grin

Out on Numbers in the next few days, I believe. Love this laid back space-age dubstep biz…

T. Williams feat. Terri Walker – Heartbeat (Mosca Remix)

Lovely remix from Mosca of T. Williams’ wicked little tune, Heartbeat. All calm and soulful in the intro but big boy bassline drops in on the drop. Badness.

F Project – 4½ Minutes Of Love

Formation‘s F Project sublabel released a load of killer hardcore tunes in the early 90s. This was the b-side of the 17th release, a wicked little bouncy roller. Some of the releases on there are pretty easy to get and the quality varies but loads of them are well worth tracking down. Be warned, some fetch astronomical prices, particularly the Tango Project (WHITE004)

Paleface feat. Sim Simi – Open Your Eyes

Back to the Funky now. It might be cheesy as anything (especially that little guitar sample) but I love this tune. No idea whether it’s coming out soon, it could have been and gone for all I know as tracking down info on these kinda tunes is tricky!

33 1/3 Queen – Searchin’

Wicked old house from the classic Nu Groove label all the way back in 1990. This tune would rock a dancefloor to this day and definitely has similarities to much of the hardcore that would start to come out around that time in the UK. In fact, after reading the comments I found out that it samples A Guy Called Gerald – Blow Your House Down so no wonder it’s got a wicked UK vibe to it!
