An interesting new film about the history of the independent record shop is coming out in September. Luckily for me it happens to be having its premier at my local cinema, the ever wonderful Brixton Ritzy, but has a DVD release coming out soon after. If you’re into vinyl and independent music then I reckon this will be well worth checking out.

Siouxsie Sioux is damn cool. A important part the punk and the post-punk movements she’s made some classic tunes over the years. Dizzy came out in the 90s and represents the lighter side of the Banshees’ sound. I think this is the slightly different edit that was featured out on a Greatest Hits compilation from around 10 years ago, the original mix is on YouTube too.
