Sick 80s business from the awesome Stephanie Mills. She’s done so many wicked tunes and I absolutely love her voice, well worth checking out her stuff on Spotify if you haven’t before. You’ll discover a load of disco and soul crackers. Big tings.
Taken from their latest album Nocturne (which is awesome) I love this little indie number. The album had a wicked limited edition press with 8 interchangeable covers and on blue vinyl that I’m gutted I missed. I’d highly recommend listening to the entire LP if you get a chance.
Hard to believe that this was made all the way back in 1981, there are still bands making music not a million miles from this sort of thing today. Instrumental awesomeness from Simple Minds, a band probably best known for their contribution to the Breakfast Club.
Have heard this loads on Mr Williams’ Rinse FM show over the past few weeks and have wanted to get my greasy mitts on it for a while now. Top bumpy house sounds from the man, out in a few weeks on PMR
Lovely garage from ’97 courtesy of two of the top guys in the game. I’ve always loved Steve Gurley’s productions and Jason Kaye was always a favourite DJ of mine playing house & garage and especially as part of Top Buzz in a more hardcore guise. Enjoy…
