Siouxsie Sioux is damn cool. A important part the punk and the post-punk movements she’s made some classic tunes over the years. Dizzy came out in the 90s and represents the lighter side of the Banshees’ sound. I think this is the slightly different edit that was featured out on a Greatest Hits compilation from around 10 years ago, the original mix is on YouTube too.

Slammin’ 80s soul. It’s amazing to look at the video and think that this actually looked futuristic at some point. The chorus in this makes me want to moonwalk all over the nearest smooth surface. Serious!

Tucked away on the b-side of Sound Control is this little gem. Bypassing the standard amen breaks of the time for some cut up beats that seem to be almost falling over themselves this was something a little different from the label that went on to produce and endless stream of hits over the next decade and a bit.
