The Good, 2 Bad & Hugly – Jungleistic

Love the sample on this, I’m guessing it’s from some old Disney cartoon much like the awesome Jungle Book one on Jungle House Crew – King Of The Jungle. Those old Ruff Kut! 12s has some gems on them, definitely a little odd in place but top tunes.

Rachel Wallace – Tell Me Why

Hopefully you already know this one. One of my favourites from the legendary Suburban Base Records, put out back in ’92 when the label was in full swing. Rachel Wallace sang on many of the Sub Bass releases at the time but this one, produced by label mates M&M, always got me moving the most. Pianos, rave stabs, sing-a-long vocals, thumpin’ bass and badman beats…all you could want, really

Happy Christmas!

Apologies in advance…

FZ – Forbidden Zone

Not much is known about this one. No idea who was behind the release and I don’t know whether they made anything else. All I do know is that it’s a wicked slab of early ’90s breakbeat badness. You’ll probably recognise a rather famous sample from the lyrics…

Jon Black – Sometimes Vol.#1 (Old Skool 88-90)

Nice old skool mix of classic early hardcore and house from the late 80s. Many big tunes in here that I’m sure you’ll recognise even if you don’t know the names
