Formation‘s F Project sublabel released a load of killer hardcore tunes in the early 90s. This was the b-side of the 17th release, a wicked little bouncy roller. Some of the releases on there are pretty easy to get and the quality varies but loads of them are well worth tracking down. Be warned, some fetch astronomical prices, particularly the Tango Project (WHITE004)
Symphony Sound knocked out plenty of big tunes in its brief existence. I know Nookie had some involvement there somewhere but not totally sure how much. If this tune didn’t have at least a fair bit of help from him then I’ll eat my hat.
Rather overshadowed by some of the other tracks on the same EP I love this little number from Manix on Enforcers 3. Leaning towards the techno end of hardcore but keeping those super distinctive Reinforced pad sounds you can tell instantly this is the work of the Dollis Hill lads. Of course the big tune on this release was Rollin’ Like Scottie which is a dancefloor killer but I like to break out this one every once in a while
Massive breakbeat hardcore tune from ’92. Taking a tiny piece of Michael Jackson and pitching it about worked a treat and this one has gone down as a total classic. It even used to get played at Garage dances back in the mid to late 90s.
