A later release on Suburban Base around the time when they went from non-stop killer tunes to putting out a load of fairly average stuff with a few nice bits here and there. I always loved this tune from when I heard it on Hype’s Kiss FM show back in ’95. Here it is on its own but you can also hear it in my second jump up mix too
Pete Parsons, a man I’ve talked about on here before is back making jungle/d&b with DJ Trace, it seems. THis has proven to be a winning combination in the past as I’m pretty sure that most of the releases on Dee Jay and Luckyspin that Trace did were engineered by Mr Voyager and plenty of them are total classics.
It looks like the two of them are starting up a new label to releases some new tunes “on the 94 vibe”. Check the audio below, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!
I’ve already talked about how much of a badman Pete Parsons AKA Voyager is but couldn’t resist posting this one as I’ve just seen these tunes have been released digitally through R&S. Absolutely beautiful jungle from a man who made and had his hand in what must have been hundreds of killer tunes. If you don’t know, get to know
I used to play on this station (and Ruud Awakening which formed after the station management split in 98 or so). Recognise a few voices from this little clip. This must have been from around ’95 judging by the tunes being played.
