I stumbled across this Guardian article the other day on the joys of sandwich making. After discussion of a few classics in the sandwich game the author makes a bold claim: to know the recipe for the ultimate sandwich.
Without trying I can’t prove or deny this, although I have to say that it looks like it might be possible…
Best remix of this absolute classic that a lot of people don’t actually know about. It came out on a super limited and hard to find 12″ back in ’96. At the time I actually passed on buying it thinking it was just a repress of the original with a funky etched b-side. Was gutted to then learn that it was the remix that I’d been after for a while and that there were no copies left anywhere.
12 years later and several quids dished out and I’m glad I’ve got a copy of it. This tune used to mash up the place with it’s rougher take on the melodic original
Can’t believe that this only has 15 views on YouTube. What’s that all about?
I’ve been working on a little fun project for the past few of months. It’s an idea I had a long time ago to go with a domain that I’d bought – http://12in.ch. I wanted a place where I could use my camera to take some really nice pics of weird and wonderful records in my collection – coloured ones, picture discs, etched etc. and also wanted to try a design that used hand drawn elements.
We launched it earlier this week and the reaction has been great. Loads of people have signed up to contribute images and there have been some excellent ones posted already!
