This reminds me of school days. Pretty sure this used to be played pretty heavily on Kiss FM back in ’96 and we’d listen to it on the shitty stereo that seemed permanently tunes to that station in the common room. I used to have this on vinyl but it’s either wandered off to a new life or is sitting in a cardboard box in my parents’ place way out of my immediate reach.
I’m absolutely loving Before Today by Ariel Pink at the moment. Crazy retro sounding indie folk type stuff with good catchy bits and plenty of oddness interspersed. There are a load of older LPs that veer towards the odder end of things but definitely worth listening to. Check it out, top stuff.
