Phoenix – Sometimes In The Fall

Another track from French lads Phoenix, if you missed it check their awesome If I Ever Feel Better that I posted a while back. Lovely melodies and jangly guitar lines. Well nice

Gregory Isaacs – Rumours

I can’t bring myself to use the American spelling. Big reggae tune form the one and only Gregory Isaacs. Not much more to say on this one, just thought I’d post up something that wasn’t quite so electronic for y’all today. Massive tune

Warrior Bass – Future World (Utopia)

Old skool jungle from the Subnation boys, better known for their huuuuuuuuge track Scottie. Future Vinyl released a load of cool releases, many of the better ones being pretty hard to come by (I’m still trying to get my hands on this one).

This is the third track on the 12″ starting with those weird pads and turning into a nice little roller. Probably not that well known but definitely deserving of a listen.

DJ Zinc feat. Miss Dynamite – Wile Out

I’ve been listening to loads of House, UK Funky, whatever you wanna call it stuff recently so thought it was about time I started to post up a bit more new music. There’s so much wicked stuff coming out of the UK at the moment especially in the underground house scene.

Some of you probably already know but Zinc has started making a load of this stuff which he’s calling Crack House. This is a vocal mix of one of the tunes on the Crack House EP (Blunt Edge) with Ms. Dynamite on vocals. Killer tune and absolutely smashing it up at the moment. Out soon, I presume.

As a side note I just realised I’ve been buying this guy’s tunes for 16 years. Definitely one of my all time top producers, the number of killer tracks he’s made is just ridiculous.

As a bonus here’s a little interview with the man himself for your pleasure. Fascinating insights into his preferences for dogs or cats inside…

Kim Wilde – You Came

Absolute banger from 80s sort Kim Wilde. Kids In America was probably her biggest hit over here but many of you should recognise this one from back in the day as well. Perfect 80s pop crap to cheese it up to
